B.Sc. Cardio Pulmonary Perfusion Technology (CPPT) is an Undergraduate Program offered by MMM college of Health Sciences Center affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.
OBJECTIVES : A perfusionist is a skilled allied health professional, trained and educated specifically as a member of an open-heart surgical team, responsible for the selection, setup and operation of a Heart-Lung Machine and other life support systems like IABP, LVAD, RVAD & ECMO to cardiac surgical team during major cardiothoracic, vascular and transplant surgeries, as well as support to the critically- ill.

B.Sc. DIALYSIS TECHNOLOGY
OBJECTIVES : To provide a thorough understanding on dialysis technology and impart skills in handling dialysis machine and the various procedures related to the management of patients attending nephrology services in the hospital.
JOB OPPORTUNITY : Dialysis technicians, also called nephrology technicians or hemodialysis technicians, operate the machines that remove wastes and excess fluid from the blood of patients whose kidneys are not functioning properly. Supervised by physicians, dialysis technicians also take care of dialysis patients before, during and after dialysis. Dialysis technicians usually are employed in hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities, but they may also work in the private residences of patients who have dialysis done at home.

B.Sc. CARDIAC TECHNOLOGY
OBJECTIVES : To perform tests on patients to evaluate lung function and vascular health. Cardiopulmonary technicians and technologists work alongside doctors to study lung and blood vessel disorders in patients.
JOB OPPORTUNITY : As a technologist he/she can perform diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders. Prepares and explains procedures to the cardiac patients and also ensures co-operations and reassurances of the patients. He / she can be employed in Echo, cardiac catheterization, ECG and treadmill laboratories.

Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination as stated in the regulations other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University shall obtain an "Eligibility Certificate" from this University by remitting the prescribed fees along with the application form and required documents before seeking admission to any one of the affiliated institutions.
M.Sc. CLINICAL NUTRITION
OBJECTIVES : The M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition is offered to assist medical and allied health professionals to understand the principles of dietary management and apply the same while providing quality patient care in multi-specialty hospitals and community.
DURATION : 2 Years and 6 months of residency training in multi-speciality hospital
